Christmas Stuffing recipe
A delicious mix of fruit and herbs with which to stuff your turkey at Thanksgiving or Christmas.
Serves: 8 people
Prep time: 30 minutes
Cooking time: 30 minutes
Ingredients:
6oz breadcrumbs
2 large onions, chopped
2oz raisins, chopped
Juice of one orange
2 ½ oz butter
one egg
tablespoon dried mixed herbs
salt and pepper
Preparation:
Gently fry the onion in the butter until soft.
Place all ingredients in a bowl, mix.
Stuff into the neck end of the bird, not too tightly, the stuffing will swell as it cooks, any left over can be cooked in a dish in the oven, dotted with flecks of butter.
