Mashed Potatoes recipe

Easy to make mashed potatoes that can be prepared ahead of time.
Prep time: 15 mins
Cooking time: 20 mins
5 lbs baking potatoes
1/2 cup (1 stick) of butter
1 cup sour cream
8 ounces softened cream cheese
1 tsp salt
- Peel potatoes and cut into 2-inch pieces.
- Boil the potatoes in a stockpot for 20 minutes or until tender.
- Drain the potatoes and add the ingredients. Mix and mash thoroughly. Taste and add more salt if needed.
The mashed potatoes can be made in advance and kept refrigerated for a couple of days. To heat the mashed potatoes set the oven to 350 ° F and bake for approximately 30 minutes or until hot.
