Meatloaf by Renee Comet

A classic dish. Cheap and simple to make.

Serves: 4
Prep time: 15 mins
Cooking time: 1 hour

Ingredients:

1-1 1/2 lb. ground beef
1 – 2 cups soft bread crumbs
6-8 oz. tomato sauce
1 egg, beaten
1/4 cup finely chopped onion
3/4 tsp salt
dash of pepper
1/4 tsp sage

Preparation:

  1. In a large bowl beat the egg
  2. Add in all other ingredients
  3. Place mixture in loaf pan Meatloaf recipe
  4. Bake in a pre-heated oven at 350 F for 60-70 mins
  5. If you like a tomato crust, spread a layer of ketchup on top about 10-15 minutes before the loaf is done.
