Meatloaf recipe

A classic dish. Cheap and simple to make.
Serves: 4
Prep time: 15 mins
Cooking time: 1 hour
Ingredients:
1-1 1/2 lb. ground beef
1 – 2 cups soft bread crumbs
6-8 oz. tomato sauce
1 egg, beaten
1/4 cup finely chopped onion
3/4 tsp salt
dash of pepper
1/4 tsp sage
Preparation:
- In a large bowl beat the egg
- Add in all other ingredients
- Place mixture in loaf pan
- Bake in a pre-heated oven at 350 F for 60-70 mins
- If you like a tomato crust, spread a layer of ketchup on top about 10-15 minutes before the loaf is done.
