Mexican Salsa recipe

Mexican Salsa is spectacular with tortilla chips and it is a great topping for most Mexican dishes.

1lb / 500g ripe tomatoes, cut into 1/4 inch / 6mm pieces
1/3 cup / 2oz / 60g finely chopped white onion
1/4 cup / 1/3 oz / 10g chopped fresh cilantro (fresh coriander)
2 serrano chiles, finely chopped
2 tsps fresh lime juice
sea salt to taste
- In a bowl, add the tomatoes, onion, cilantro (fresh coriander), chiles and lime juice. Sprinkle salt and mix ingredients.
- If the salsa is too dry add some water. Cover the salsa and let it sit for 10 minutes so the flavors combine.
